Place chicken thighs in a bowl and toss with lemon juice, crushed garlic and thyme. Make sure all sides are coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours or more.

Place thighs on rack in a baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 425 degrees about 30 minutes.

Cut cherry tomatoes in half and place in skillet with melted butter. Cook 1 to 2 minutes. Put chicken on serving platter, spoon on sauteed tomatoes. Serve immediately.
